Welcome to Ecorepair

Supporting ecosystems - sensitive, hands-on, low chemical environmental repair

Ecorepair has over 20 years of experience in Bushland management.  The company provides a range of environmental  services and products, specialising in sensitive, high quality bushland management and revegetation.  Our multidisciplinary team offers a diverse and complementary set of skills and experience.

Eco-Repair is based in the Yarra Valley but also has depots at Ventnor on Phillip Island

Eco-Repair is a small business, under 15 employees, where all staff meet on site to maximise time on site and avoid depot delays.  The following is a list of Eco-Repair’s services

Weed management

in native vegetation, in a wide range of different forest types across a variety of settings, from remnants in urban parkland to riparian rural sites and significant protected areas.

We bring excellent ecological and flora and fauna knowledge. All staff are trained in this field and have a keen interest in local bushland rehabilitation. Experience has shown that the most effective and efficient works are gradual and follow up is essential on all larger works.

I feel that it is very important to continue a regular presence in bushland reserves so that we have a deeper understanding of the seasonal changes and get on top of any weeds before they became a problem.

All remnant bushland areas will be looked at, starting from the most intact areas and working out, also keeping in perspective public view and weed containment. Eco repair is well known for effective, efficient, low chemical weed control with an ongoing commitment to each site.

Eco-Tours

Our latest venture is to take groups on environmental tours

Tours are conducted on Phillip Island, the Dandenongs and the Otways including the Great Ocean Road.

Tailor made tours to suit small groups

Tours would involve looking at the overall ecology of significant areas and identifying the flora and fauna of these regions

Vegetation Mapping /Assessment/Management plans

Eco-Repair has completed several significant management plans.

Staff are trained and experienced in a variety of vegetation assessment techniques as well as mapping of weeds, rare species and significant vegetation.

Revegetation and Landscape Gardening with Indigenous plants

Eco-Repair has many years experience in revegetation and has developed techniques and methods to provide low maintenance revegetation with a high success rate.  We have also used our experience in revegetation to expand into creating home gardens with a bush feel.  We call it Bush Gardens by Eco-Repair.  More recently we have had great success with coastal gardens using indigenous plants

Graham felt there was a gap in the industry for a contractor with plant knowledge and environmental sensitivity.  Graham’s philosophy is to approach bushland in a well-planned and informed manner.
